Staff Developer Relations Engineer

📋 Description

• Represent Render at conferences, meetups, hackathons, podcasts, and livestreams
• Design and run hands-on workshops and hackathons
• Set DevRel's technical direction and define quality standards for content
• Serve as technical counterpart for ecosystem partners
• Engage in technical communities on platforms like GitHub, X, Discord, Reddit, and Hacker News
• Run developer feedback loop and translate insights into product improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in developer relations, solutions engineering, or software engineering
• At least 3 years in developer-facing role at developer tools, cloud, or infrastructure company
• Track record of speaking at conferences and designing workshops
• Experience setting direction for developer relations programs
• Hands-on fluency with AI agents: tool calling, MCP servers, LLM APIs, agent frameworks
• Engineering depth to be credible with senior engineers
