Staff DevOps Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the design and evolution of Cadence’s cloud infra for reliability and security.
• Maintain core Kubernetes services: networking, autoscaling, and monitoring.
• Lead Terraform-based IaC practices, authoring and enforcing AI deployment standards.
• Define DevSecOps controls across clusters: IAM and runtime policy for healthcare compliance.
• Sharpen observability practices using Datadog, improving alerting and incident response.
• Manage infrastructure spend with discipline, reducing waste without compromising resilience.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps or platform engineering with ownership of production cloud infrastructure.
• Deep experience with AWS and Kubernetes: designing, operating, and debugging prod clusters.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable tooling.
• Strong observability tooling with Datadog, including alerting and incident response.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industry with security/compliance knowledge.
• Track record mentoring engineers and raising infra standards across a team.
• Fluency with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered systems in production.
