📋 Description

Design and test drivetrain technologies for electric actuators
Optimize drivetrains for mass, volume, inertia, efficiency, torque, and speed
Design gear tooth profiles for backlash, efficiency, strength, and lifetime
Select bearings and lubrication strategies
Perform FEA, gear analysis, and static analysis to validate designs
Select materials and manufacturing methods for actuation performance and cost

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
8+ years of experience in drivetrain, gearbox, or actuator development (robotics, automotive, or
Proficiency in gear design software (KISSsoft, Romax or similar) and CAD (NX, Solidworks, Onshape)
Strong understanding of gear manufacturing, analysis, and tribology
Knowledge of gearbox types and industry standards (AGMA, SAE, ISO)
Exceptional attention to detail
