Staff DX Engineer

📋 Description

• Build tutorials, demo apps, and videos that show developers how to build real things on Render
• Own Render templates and the render-examples GitHub org for the frameworks developers ask about
• Build agent skills, automation, and internal tools so the team stops doing repetitive content and
• Improve how Render shows up in LLM and answer-engine results.
• Alpha test new releases end to end and write up what breaks, with enough detail for Product and
• Contribute code to developer-facing surfaces like the Render CLI, MCP server, SDKs, and docs.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building developer content, or working as an engineer who teaches, at a developer tools or
• Experience setting technical direction and raising the bar for a team.
• Full-stack engineering experience. Strong backend skills (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Postgres)
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of AI agents and the workloads they run.
• Experience with the agent stack: MCP servers, agent frameworks, LLM APIs, evals, and durable
• Daily fluency with coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
