Staff Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Own full PCBA design lifecycle from requirements to verification.
• Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, and Test teams to design PCBAs.
• Ensure PCBA designs meet safety, reliability, and compliance for high-power systems.
• Drive design documentation: DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical diagrams, and test plans.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of PCBA designs.
• Document concepts, architecture, bring-up results, and root-cause analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Eng +7+ yrs or MS +5+ yrs
• Proficiency in PCBA design ECAD tools (Altium or equivalent)
• Experience with sensors, high-power electronics, MCU/MPU/SOM
• Networking and on-board comms: Ethernet, CAN-FD, SPI/UART/I2C/JTAG
• Safety/compliance focus; UL 991, 1973, 9540, 1998 experience
• Familiarity with PLM, JIRA, JAMA; cross-functional teamwork
