Staff Electrical Engineer

📋 Description

• Own electronic systems from ideation through design, testing, and mass production for Apollo
• Architect high-level system electronics and PCBAs; select components and drive CAD tools.
• Lead engineering initiatives as a technical lead; mentor junior/senior engineers.
• Collaborate with leadership, PM, and cross-functional teams to plan company strategy.
• Prototype electrical systems rapidly; develop design docs, test plans, and drawings.
• Design hardware to meet functional safety, including redundancy and diagnostics.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of electronics development experience; proven electronics product shipping in mass
• Experience with product lifecycle management and PLM systems (Arena).
• CAD tools such as Altium or similar; hardware design, prototyping, debugging PCB/PCBAs.
• Experience with electronics lab tools and simulation (LTSpice, PSpice).
• Strong communication; able to create detailed build instructions and diagrams.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% (US & international).
