Staff Electrical Engineer - Compute

📋 Description

• Lead the architectural design of the robot's next-generation compute solution, from high-level
• Define and validate compute requirements based on robotics algorithms including motion control
• Develop a robust, scalable solution for high-bandwidth sensor data.
• Design for functional safety with redundant systems, fail-safe mechanisms, and diagnostics to meet
• Collaborate with software, electrical, and systems engineers for seamless integration with the
• Conduct performance benchmarking and power analysis for efficiency and thermal management.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in architecting and shipping complex, high-performance compute solutions for
• Deep understanding of functional safety principles and IEC 61508; safety-critical design experience.
• Experience with compute platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, Intel, and other high-performance embedded
• RTOS, multi-core processing, and communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN).
• Sensor bandwidth management and high-speed data transfer experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaborative engineering approach.
