Staff Electrical Engineer - Medium Voltage

📋 Description

• Own electrical design standards and reference architectures for medium-voltage systems supporting
• Lead design from utility interconnection through campus distribution and
• Develop and review single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, protection schemes, sequences of
• Evaluate greenfield, retrofit, and partner-provided designs for capacity, reliability
• Perform or oversee load-flow, short-circuit, protective-device coordination, grounding, arc-flash
• Define requirements for substations, transformers, medium-voltage switchgear, protective relays

🎯 Requirements

• Have experience designing medium-voltage electrical systems for data centers, mission-critical
• Understand medium-voltage distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, grounding
• Can develop and review single-line diagrams, technical specifications, relay philosophies, and
• Have experience with ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or comparable electrical analysis software.
• Understand applicable electrical and safety requirements, including NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, NETA, and
• Can balance reliability, capacity, maintainability, constructability, cost, and delivery schedule.
