Staff Electrical Engineer, Test Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Design and build custom electrical test equipment for automation of test hardware
• Own reliability and UL test automation hardware; simulate real-world hardware and responses
• Collaborate with product design, reliability, and UL teams to build test hardware
• Develop software for test beds, including control, automation, and data acquisition (Python)
• Architect test equipment for BMS verification, including HIL systems
• Collaborate with design teams to diagnose issues and fix hardware/software

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 7+ years in electrical design and/or test equipment development
• Proficiency with eCAD tools for PCB, control panels, and harness designs (Altium/EPLAN)
• Hands-on experience with sensors, power electronics, and data acquisition
• Experience with software for testing/automation; Python or IEC 61131-3 PLC preferred
• Familiarity with BMS architecture, CAN, SPI, and I2C protocols
