Staff Electro-Optical Payload Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop integration, verification, and test strategies for EO payloads.
• Develop and maintain optical and sensor test facilities.
• Test payloads and assist production during satellite integration.
• Partner with engineering, program management, and production for end-to-end validation.
• Define requirements and oversee design/build of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and test infra.
• Support the development of new EO payload architectures and concepts.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in technical engineering with optical systems testing.
• Bachelor's degree in optical engineering, physics, or related field (or equivalent 4 years).
• Hands-on lab experience with optical test and related instrumentation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language with numerical computing.
• Strong grasp of optical image formation physics in visible and IR.
• Familiarity with satellite/payload interface and CONOPs constraints.
