Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, test, and improve Akuity's SaaS platform
• Develop in Go on the server-side
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to design, implement, and deliver features that remove the
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across complex, high-impact projects
• Mentor engineers and help drive engineering best practices across the organization
• Ensure the SaaS platform remains scalable and built with developer empathy

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of development experience
• 4+ years of experience developing scalable web applications using Golang
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers or operators at scale
• Passion for complex technical products (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
• Deep knowledge of systems design, API design, and infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience leading architecture and technical direction of complex distributed systems
