Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Join KnowBe4 as Staff Engineer on core Security Awareness Training product.
• Own architecture and lead day-to-day engineering across teams.
• Work on Rails backend, Vue 3 MFEs, SvelteKit, and AWS infra.
• Drive frontend migration to Vue 3 while maintaining SvelteKit app.
• Design scalable GraphQL APIs and multi-tenant data strategies.
• Lead through technical direction and cross-team influence.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years scaling production Rails apps; GraphQL and multi-tenant DB tuning.
• Frontend: Vue 3, SvelteKit, TypeScript; lead large-scale frontend work.
• AWS expertise: ECS/Fargate, Lambda, EventBridge, S3; Terraform.
• Distributed systems: event-driven design, asynchronous processing, idempotency.
• Technical leadership: ADRs, cross-team design; FedRAMP/SOC2/ISO27001 compliant.
• Education/Experience: BS or higher with required years (10/5/4 respectively).
