Staff Engineer

📋 Description

• Build highly available, secure authentication and API services.
• Maintain and evolve mission-critical internal databases and services.
• Optimize and operate high-volume auto-scaling streaming data services.
• Instrument streaming data services for per-customer utilization visibility.
• Write and maintain documentation for internal and public services.

🎯 Requirements

• Expertise in Python, Go, Java, or C++ with eagerness to learn more.
• Experience running scalable (thousands of RPS) and reliable (three 9s) systems.
• Experience building scalable systems for large data volumes or millions of users with production deployment.
• Experience with large-scale distributed storage and databases (SQL/NoSQL e.g. MySQL, Cassandra)
• Ability to decompose complex problems and lead teams to solutions.
• Data Processing: experience building large-scale or real-time data processing pipelines with Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, Storm, or Zookeeper.
