Staff Engineer - Developer Productivity

📋 Description

• Own and continuously improve the end-to-end developer experience across build, test, and deployment
• Lead the evolution, architecture, and optimization of a large JavaScript/TypeScript monorepo.
• Reduce build times and CI bottlenecks through tooling, caching, and architectural improvements.
• Implement, scale, and maintain monorepo technologies such as TurboRepo, Bazel, and Nx.
• Improve testing infrastructure, visibility, reliability, and execution speed.
• Design scalable systems and workflows to accelerate developer iteration cycles.

🎯 Requirements

• 8–15 years of professional experience in backend engineering, developer productivity, platform
• Extensive experience with developer tooling, build systems, monorepo infrastructure, or internal
• Proven ability to support engineering organizations scaling from ~40 to more than 100 engineers.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of systems design, software architecture, and distributed systems behavior.
• Hands-on experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines, build performance, testing infrastructure, and
