Staff Engineer – Ex Atmospheres

📋 Description

• Act as an individual contributor in the explosive atmosphere division leading quality assessments
• Conduct QAN/QAR audits to verify manufacturer and factory compliance to EN/ISO/IEC 80079-34, IECEx
• Review client-provided QAN/QAR submissions to ensure documentation packages are complete prior to
• Prepare audit schedules, agendas, checklists, and supporting materials for internal and external
• Compile audit reports and technical documentation to aid Certification Decisions.
• Document audit findings and NCRs clearly and objectively in QAN/QAR audit reports.

🎯 Requirements

• BSEE, BSCS or equivalent degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with NRTL, IECEx or ATEX manufacturer or Hazardous location
• ISO 9001:2015 lead auditor certification from an IRCA or equivalent certified coursework provider
• Authorized IECEx Quality Assessment Report (QAR) auditor (Preferred)
• Prior experience in conducting or participating in internal and external audits (Preferred)
• Prior experience reviewing IECEx and ATEX technical reports (ExTRs) (Preferred)
