📋 Description

• Design, ship, and own billing infra, usage APIs, and backend services from proposal to rollout.
• Use AI coding agents as part of daily workflow.
• Turn ambiguous problems into well-defined technical plans.
• Partner with engineering, product, business systems, and billing to align requirements.
• Develop design and architecture documents for new systems and APIs.
• Evolve tools and pipelines powering billing, usage reporting, and orderability.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and operating highly available data pipelines and distributed systems.
• 5+ years building data systems that collect, aggregate, and derive insights; forecasting features.
• You drive projects end-to-end from design to post-launch.
• Design for downstream users of your data, including reliability and billing impact.
• Testing and observability as subtraction; name metrics that paid off.
• Relational and non-relational storage experience (MySQL, BigTable, BigQuery, Dynamo, Cassandra).
