Staff Engineer, People Technology

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain People automations across Workato, GCP, Claude, Workday.
• Build and maintain Workday/Greenhouse/Slack integrations using WWS and Slack API.
• Write automation code in Ruby (or Python) stored in GitLab with docs and reviews.
• Develop Slack apps/bots delivering automated workflows for a global workforce.
• Diagnose root problems and co-design durable, scalable automation solutions.
• SME on Workato automation architecture; drive standardization and reuse.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on code in Ruby or Python; willing to learn Ruby if needed.
• Deep expertise in Workato or a similar enterprise automation platform.
• Strong experience integrating with Workday using Workday Web Services (WWS).
• Experience building Slack apps/bots with Slack API and Bot SDK.
• Proficiency with Git and GitLab for version control, reviews, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with GCP or AWS; Docker and Kubernetes.
