Staff Engineer, Platform & Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure for the platform (compute, networking, data-layer services).
• Lead BYOC and private-cloud deployments, including provisioning, upgrades, and observability.
• Build and improve Infrastructure as Code and GitOps foundations to enable fast, reliable delivery.
• Establish reliability via SLOs, monitoring, and strong incident-management practices.
• Guide evolution of data infra (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse) as usage grows.
• Drive security and compliance initiatives (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, pen tests, security reviews).

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or related.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production with good judgment on when to use it.
• Experience operating software in BYOC, single-tenant, on-premises, or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS expertise; GCP and Azure are beneficial.
• Advanced Terraform skills (modules, state management, multi-account).
• Strong PostgreSQL expertise (performance, migrations under load, replication, reliability).
