Staff Engineer, Security & Compliance

📋 Description

• Own platform security & compliance posture (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA)
• Cross-domain role; partner with CTO and domain engineers
• Write code, design controls, and automate compliance
• Secure data handling and tenant isolation across multi-institution platform
• Build scalable automation to prove compliance and audit readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Senior IC with deep security/compliance in regulated/financial environments
• Ownership of SOC 2, PCI, or HIPAA programs; built and run controls
• Strong data security instincts: encryption, PII handling, tenant isolation
• Data security for AI systems and secure AI workflows
• Automation mindset; built compliance tooling and evidence pipelines
• BS/BA CS required; MS/PhD a plus; SF onsite; H1B transfers welcome
