Staff Engineer, Software

📋 Description

• Hands-on staff software development for satellite imaging payload and ADCS.
• Lead with Jira in an Agile-like env; standups and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with ESG and cross-functional engineers to deliver features on time and defect-free.
• Ensure documentation, testing, inspection, and analysis verify requirements.
• Assist Systems Engineering with requirements development and management.
• Execute flight software design, development, unit tests and releases.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Remote-friendly; Tukwila, WA office 1-2 days/week preferred.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or EE or equivalent experience
• 10+ years delivering embedded software in production
• Expertise in C/C++ and Python
• Embedded Linux experience with Buildroot/Yocto
• Proven cross-functional leadership
• Strong root cause analysis and problem solving
• US citizenship may be required for some programs
