Staff Engineer (Storefront Home, CLP, Recommendations)

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for Storefront initiatives from architecture to production.
• Partner with product, design, and data science to translate business goals into scalable engineering plans.
• Drive performance, observability, testing, and maintainability across the Storefront codebase.
• Proactively identify and resolve systemic engineering gaps before incidents.
• Mentor senior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and coaching.
• Define and drive frontend architecture, API design, and experimentation frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack web development in high-traffic commerce or consumer web surfaces.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React; SSR frameworks like Next.js a plus.
• Experience building reliable distributed web applications at scale.
• Proven ability to drive large technical initiatives end-to-end: scoping, sequencing, and delivery.
• Track record of raising engineering quality via standards, tooling, documentation, and mentorship.
• Experience with A/B testing frameworks and data-driven experimentation.
