Staff Equipment Engineer, Automation

📋 Description

• Own and improve semi-manual and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Define and implement OEE and equipment metrics to identify loss drivers.
• Collaborate with product design and process development for DFM/DFA feedback.
• Drive cross-functional alignment on controls and tooling improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis of assembly and quality issues to improve equipment.
• Support ramp and sustaining operations across shifts.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or Controls; 7+ years.
• Deep understanding of semi-manual and automated equipment.
• Expertise with Fanuc Robotics and other automation systems.
• Experience with assembly methods, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
• Proven DFM/DFA feedback to design and process teams.
• Strong problem solving and cross-functional communicator.
