Staff Field Engineer

📋 Description

• Advise on and support some of Grafana's most strategic deals and customer engagements
• Serve as a company-recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one area of the Grafana Platform, and
• Proven ability to craft and deliver compelling value based stories to help the sales team
• Own end-to-end creation and curation of technical training content (workshops, how-to guides, demo
• Architect, engineer, and maintain a live production environment that supports demo, workshop, and
• Act as a key influencer in product direction, helping key customers adopt newer technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of related technical experience, including 2+ years in a Senior Field Engineer
• Excellent understanding of Grafana and associated technologies, with SME depth in at least one area
• Expert-level knowledge in at least one adjacent domain (e.g., IoT, AI/ML) beyond the core
• Has created and maintained at least one product training asset (workshop, guide, or structured
• Demonstrated experience partnering cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering.
• Comfortable with at least one modern programming language, and strong understanding of the modern
