Staff Finance Systems Engineer - Order to Cash (San Francisco and Bay Area only)

📋 Description

• Understand end-to-end O2C processes and supporting systems (NetSuite, Zuora, reporting).
• Own cross-system improvement projects across Revenue Platform Eng, Finance Data, and vendors.
• Stay current on O2C changes and assess impacts on financial reporting.
• Maintain knowledge of adjacent systems (sales comp, GL integrations) for cross-system data integrity.
• Implement SOX and ITGC monitoring controls and audits for data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis to deliver permanent solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in finance systems engineering with O2C and revenue recognition; public/SOX desirable.
• Own multi-system architecture decisions across ERP, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Track record turning vague mandates into a scoped technical roadmap.
• Act as technical authority with Finance and Engineering when recommendations are challenged.
• Working knowledge of adjacent systems (Sales, Revenue Platforms, Finance Data, GL) for cross-system impact.
• Strong ASC 606/IFRS 15 grounding; translate O2C requirements into architecture.
