Staff Front End Engineer (Web Core)

📋 Description

• Build and maintain a web platform that teams use to efficiently deliver excellent web experiences.
• Drive technical excellence across Pleo's web applications (architecture, patterns, quality
• Improve developer experience (DX) through tooling, CI reliability, and fast feedback loops.
• Steward shared web foundations (libraries, conventions, golden paths) and support adoption.
• Facilitate and contribute to the broader frontend community at Pleo.
• Set technical direction for parts of our web platform, and drive alignment across teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Building and maintaining complex web applications at scale.
• TypeScript and modern frontend engineering (React experience is a plus).
• Designing maintainable systems (including frontend-facing APIs and platform boundaries).
• Testing practices and tooling (unit, integration, end-to-end) and a strong quality mindset.
• CI/CD and developer productivity improvements (faster, more reliable feedback loops).
• Observability and monitoring practices for web systems (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).
