Staff Fullstack Engineer - Data Products

📋 Description

• Architect data ingestion and Knowledge Graph synchronization.
• Coordinate integration with Jira, observability tools, Zendesk, ServiceNow for business context.
• Design Data Marketplace for Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery access.
• Publish GitLab observability data as OpenTelemetry and support APIs for data access.
• Define operational readiness for GitLab.com, Dedicated, and Self-Managed deployments.
• Translate product problems into practical technical plans with Product, Design, and Graph Backend.

🎯 Requirements

• Staff-level experience owning end-to-end product or platform systems.
• Strong fullstack skills in Go, Ruby, and Node.
• Depth in reporting/metrics, graph data systems, or data access (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery).
• Hands-on data ingestion, integrations, or data access.
• Experience operating multi-tenant SaaS and self-managed systems.
• Strong judgment in ambiguity; make tradeoffs and move work forward.
• Clear written communication for architecture proposals and design docs.
• Practical, proactive collaborator with transferable platform/data/product experience.
