Staff Hardware Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead hardware reliability testing for automotive power/compute hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability.
• Develop and monitor reliability tests, including stress tests.
• Analyze failure data to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Create reports on testing findings and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement to meet automotive reliability standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in hardware reliability engineering, automotive/aerospace preferred.
• Strong hardware design, reliability testing (HALT/HASS, vibration), and failure analysis.
• Experience with firmware teams and hardware interactions.
• Led root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Data analysis (Python, JMP) and reliability tools (Weibull++, dFMEA).
