Staff High-Speed I/O Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Execute high-speed serial I/O characterization across platforms for Lightmatter products.
• Collaborate with architecture, SI, and silicon design to craft test techniques for manufacturing.
• Architect test concepts, platforms, and design-for-test rules for early phase.
• Set up and operate high-speed lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, AWGs, TDRs, VNAs).
• Develop Python-based test software to automate measurements, execution, analysis, and extraction.
• Define stress testing methodologies to identify operating limits after system integration.

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of industry experience in transceiver, SerDes, or high-speed link test development.
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, BERTs, VNAs, and spectrum analyzers.
• Strong familiarity with high-speed interfaces and analog blocks (PLL, CDR, CTLE, DFE, FFE, FEC).
• Experience in test system automation and data processing using Python.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills for hardware and signal integrity issues.
