Staff Incident Manager

📋 Description

• Incident command on major/critical incidents; coordinate across teams.
• Own response cadence from detection to resolution.
• On-call responsibilities within a You Build It, You Run It model.
• Coordinate cross-domain Sev-1 events and scale of impact.
• Lead postmortems and track action items to closure.
• Translate incident patterns into reliability roadmap items.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience running major incident response in production.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native ops.
• Experience defining/maturing incident management practices.
• Fluency with observability tools; Datadog preferred; paging tools.
• Track record of running postmortems that drive action items.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; calm under pressure.
