Staff Information Security Engineer - Threat Detection & Response

📋 Description

• Own threat detection and response end-to-end for Visier's platform.
• Drive detection content, tooling, and incident response processes.
• Scale security with engineering-first practices and AI workflows.
• Partner with software developers, SREs, and security teams to defend.
• Act as Incident Commander during major security events.
• Mentor peers to elevate the team's defense.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in information security with threat detection or incident response.
• Expert in modern SIEM environments; Splunk Enterprise Security preferred.
• Cloud threat coverage across AWS, Azure, GCP; identity providers, EDR telemetry.
• Incident Commander experience leading cross-functional incident response.
• Strong coding in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
• Detection-as-Code mastery with MITRE ATT&CK mapping.
• Translate technical risk into clear executive-level insights.
