Staff Innovation Engineer, Marketplace

📋 Description

• Architect core services for Marketplace products including POs, contracts, invoicing, and workflows.
• Partner with customers to scope problems and ship new marketplace bets in ~30 days.
• Drive adoption and optimization for launched products and measure usage.
• Build AI-native features, agent harnesses, and AI/LLM-integrated workflows.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to system design, and maintain API boundaries.
• Collaborate with product, design, and GM for pricing and scale decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering with backend/distributed systems focus.
• Experience shipping 0-to-1 products in fast-iteration environments with customers.
• Hands-on experience with multiple LLM providers and document-extraction tools (e.g., AWS Textract
• Experience building agent harnesses, RAG pipelines, and AI/workflow integrations.
• Background in data engineering, ML, or unstructured document processing is a plus.
• Full-stack capability with customer-obsessed mindset; cross-functional collaboration.
