Staff Java Developer (m/f/d)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve reliable and scalable backend services in modern Java and Spring Boot
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives and drive topics from idea to production
• Work across REST and gRPC APIs, event-driven flows, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Flyway, and shared
• Raise the bar on architecture, observability, performance, security, testing, and developer
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams (backend, web, mobile)
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership, reviews, and knowledge sharing

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience building backend services with modern Java and Spring Boot
• Comfortable operating at Staff level across architecture, implementation, and cross-team technical
• Experienced in microservices and event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of designing for reliability, scalability, idempotency, and long-term maintainability
• Experience with PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, Flyway, Redis, and Kafka
• Ability to choose the right persistence and messaging patterns for the problem
