📋 Description

• Build scalable systems for training and fine-tuning large-scale generative models to produce
• Lead RL algorithm development, reward functions, and training paradigms for driving behaviors.
• Advance Deep Learning models and Generative AI (LLM/VLM) to automate triaging and analysis of
• Oversee production and optimization of ML models for Waymo's fleet miles.
• Monitor and adopt best practices from Alphabet to develop RLHF data collection/evaluation systems.
• Collaborate with Prediction, Planning, Research, and leadership to deliver on strategic efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• MS or PhD in CS/ML/AI or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on ML with focus on RL.
• Expertise in deep learning, sequence modeling, and generative models.
• Strong publication record or impactful project delivery in RL.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., JAX, TensorFlow).
• Experience with large-scale distributed training and data processing.
