Staff Machine Learning Engineer

📋 Description

• Own ML Platform direction — feature store, model hosting, experimentation, training infra.
• Lead design and delivery of large-scope platform initiatives across ML, data, and infra.
• Resolve systemic challenges: feature parity, deployment friction, GPU utilization.
• Set engineering quality through hands-on coding, reviews, and mentorship.
• Translate ML strategy into technical roadmaps with cross-team stakeholders.
• Define safe shipping paths from feature registration to canary rollout and rollback.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years delivering complex backend or infrastructure systems at scale.
• Direct experience building/operating ML infrastructure: feature stores, model serving, experimentation.
• Mastery of Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, or Scala.
• Deep proficiency with distributed systems: consistency, latency, throughput, fault tolerance, observability.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, query languages, online/offline ML data patterns.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with cross-team alignment.
