Staff Machine Learning Engineer, DUE

📋 Description

• Lead development of Deep Learning and ML models for high-volume workflows in Waymo's DUE team.
• Design and build Gen AI LLM/VLM solutions for self-driving car behavior analysis and anomaly
• Monitor and adopt best practices to develop RL from human preference-based data collection and
• Enhance User Feedback Analysis with multi-label classifications, sentiment assessment, and trend
• Oversee production and optimization of ML models across Waymo’s fleet of vehicles.
• Drive technical direction and align the technical agenda with business objectives.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, ML or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong coding experience in C++ and/or Python
• Experience in Foundational Models, VLM, Deep Learning
• 5+ years of hands-on ML project experience
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face transformers; ML deployment
