📋 Description

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for a foundation model from pretraining to production serving.
• Drive research from experimentation to production serving for multiple product teams.
• Work across full ML stack: pretraining, architecture, distributed training, serving, monitoring.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineers across Plaid.
• Help hundreds of millions of consumers through the ML capabilities you build and ship.

🎯 Requirements

• MS: 7–12+ years with leadership and production delivery.
• PhD: 5–9+ years with leadership and end-to-end production ownership.
• Leadership across teams with cross-team mentorship.
• Deep expertise in Transformers/LLMs/Foundation Models.
• End-to-end production ownership: training, serving, monitoring.
• Distributed training experience and strong Python + SWE fundamentals.
