Staff Manufacturing Test Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy manufacturing test software for cell, module, and pack-level testing.
• Design scalable hardware/software architectures including HMI, PLC automation, MES, and databases.
• Develop and deploy manufacturing test equipment for new product introductions.
• Create test fixtures, hardware interfaces, and instrumentation for production safety.
• Lead equipment validation activities and production readiness reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, MES, and Operations to define test requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automated test systems in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Ownership of complete test systems from concept through deployment.
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience integrating test systems with MES, databases, or enterprise software systems.
• Experience scaling test systems from prototype to high-volume manufacturing.
• Experience with CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, Protobuf, or similar technologies.
