Staff Mechanical Engineer - Payloads

📋 Description

• Lead mechanical design and integration of satellite payloads.
• Ensure payloads meet strict mechanical requirements.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams across programs.
• Develop concepts for spacecraft structures and support gear.
• Interface with flight, prototype, and ground support hardware.
• Work within a multi-functional team delivering state-of-the-art spacecraft.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 10+ years in mechanical engineering
• Experience maturing satellite/launch designs to drawings
• Experience designing mechanical optical systems
• CAD with Creo to develop parts and drawings
• Familiarity with ANSI Y14.5 tolerancing
