Staff ML Risk Analyst

📋 Description

• Define ML data and feature strategy for fraud detection to act on high-risk traffic.
• Own end-to-end feature engineering pipeline for ATO and scam ML.
• Identify tooling gaps and drive the roadmap to close infra gaps.
• Partner with ML Engineers to deploy production‑ready, instrumented models.
• Set technical direction for ML Analytics; mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with PMs and Risk to surface signals and translate ML findings into decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in ML analytics or data science focused on risk, fraud, or payments.
• Deep expertise in Spark and Python; big data ML; SQL adjacent.
• Proven feature engineering for ML; build, validate features at scale.
• Understand ML industry evolution; apply to close infra gaps.
• Optimizes for sensitivity and accuracy on small, high-stakes traffic.
• Nice to have: experience with modern ML feature stores (Tecton/Feast).
