Staff Modeling & Controls Engineer

📋 Description

• Author and maintain concepts of operations for state machines and faults.
• Design and implement hierarchical state machines for BMS control levels.
• Drive model-based code generation; ensure testable, maintainable C code.
• Develop unit, integration, coverage, and HIL test strategies.
• Travel to prototype testbeds for limited support.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years with PhD in Engineering or 5+ years with MS.
• Classical control theory: feedback controllers, observers, filters.
• Production-embedded code with model-based tools (Simulink/Stateflow + Embedded Coder).
• Experience with complex electromechanical systems.
• Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and Git experience.
