Staff Platform Architect, Data & AI (Remote)

📋 Description

• Evolve batch, analytics and MLOps platforms for reliability and cost.
• Develop infra for semantic/ontology layers, tooling, lifecycle, and catalog.
• Design usage infra enabling BI tools, ML pipelines, AI agents, and clients.
• Design agent-driven data access with permission-aware semantic discovery and identity federation.
• Ensure platform capabilities translate into client-facing products.
• Guide architecture choices and lead prototyping with analytics teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering in data platforms, analytics infra, and AI/ML at enterprise scale.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in science, technology, engineering or related field.
• Experience building/operating MLOps platforms from data access to model deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with data modeling, metadata, lineage, and data governance.
• Hands-on with distributed computing, cloud-native infrastructure, and public cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience building enterprise-scale data and MLOps platforms on Databricks.
