Staff Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, operate, and improve a secure, scalable Kubernetes platform across cloud and on-prem
• Build and maintain standardized platform capabilities: ingress, service mesh, secrets, lifecycle
• Develop reusable infrastructure patterns and Terraform modules for AWS and on-prem
• Strengthen observability with metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting
• Reduce platform friction by providing architectural guidance and standards
• Automate platform lifecycle management: bootstrap, upgrades, scaling, maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or infra roles at scale
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes: cluster architecture, upgrades, networking, ingress, storage, security
• Strong AWS fundamentals: networking, IAM, compute, storage, security patterns
• Strong Terraform and IaC skills: reusable modules, abstractions, scalable provisioning
• Observability experience: SLO/SLI design, instrumentation, dashboards, alerting
• Proficiency in Python or Go for automation and tooling
