Staff Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure for the platform.
• Lead BYOC capabilities: provisioning, upgrades, observability, and scalable deployments.
• Operationalize IaC and GitOps for small engineering teams.
• Establish SLOs and incident management processes.
• Own data infra: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse.
• Drive infrastructure security and compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, pen tests).

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes in production with good judgment on when to use it.
• Experience with BYOC, single-tenant, on-prem, or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS expertise; familiarity with GCP/Azure is a plus.
• Advanced Terraform experience with reusable modules and multi-account architectures.
• PostgreSQL expertise including performance, migrations, replication, reliability.
