Staff Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure for the platform (compute, networking, data-layer services).
• Lead Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) provisioning, upgrades, observability, and scalable deployments.
• Productize IaC and GitOps for fast, reliable shipping by a small engineering team.
• Define SLOs and incident management processes to establish reliability as a product.
• Own and scale data infrastructure: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse.
• Drive security/compliance programs (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, pen tests, reviews).

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE or related roles with high-traffic
• Deep Kubernetes experience in production; know when to use alternatives.
• Experience with BYOC/private-cloud, single-tenant, on-premises, or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS expertise; familiarity with GCP and Azure is a plus.
• Advanced Terraform experience with reusable modules and multi-account architectures.
• PostgreSQL expertise with performance optimization, migrations under load, replication, and
