Staff Product Engineer - Backend (Revenue Engineering, Stripe)

📋 Description

• Own and evolve revenue infrastructure for accurate usage tracking, billing, and customer
• Design and optimize metering, billing, subscriptions, webhooks, and complex edge cases.
• Maintain cloud marketplace data flows between billing systems and cloud provider entitlements.
• Develop customer-facing usage dashboards and forecasting for consumption and cost trends.
• Improve billing monitoring, alerts, and anomaly detection.
• Set architectural standards and guide future development with reliability in mind.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend engineering, with ownership of billing, payments, or metering systems.
• Hands-on with payment infra: subscriptions, webhooks, usage-based billing, reconciliation, failure
• Strong backend skills; Go or Java experience is a plus.
• Proven experience designing/operating distributed systems at scale with reliability and performance
• Product-oriented mindset; influence on customer trust and pricing accuracy.
• Staff-level ownership, ability to drive technical direction and elevate practices.
