📋 Description

• Own the vision and roadmap for Render's datastores (Postgres).
• Provisioning, lifecycle, HA/DR, backups, PITR.
• Scaling, performance, connection management, and extensions.
• Prioritize data investments balancing reliability with product needs.
• Partner with Engineering and Product to shape the data layer.
• Define how managed Postgres evolves for AI-native builders.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in Product Management focusing on databases or platform products.
• Familiarity with Postgres—architecture, ops, ecosystem.
• Deep developer empathy and ability to trade off decisions.
• Track record turning ambiguous reliability problems into shipped outcomes.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
