Staff Product Manager, Developer Lifecycle & Tooling

📋 Description

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Temporal’s developer lifecycle and tooling charter
• Define developer experience goals for onboarding, local development, testing, replay, and CLI workflows
• Translate signals into tooling bets that make Temporal easier to start, test, debug, evolve, and deploy
• Partner with engineering and SDK teams to ship tooling across CLI, local dev, testing, replay, and deploy safety
• Make opinionated calls on built-in tooling vs integration, docs, templates, or examples
• Shape a coherent cross-SDK experience across Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, .NET, and other languages

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product management, focused on developer tools, SDKs, CLIs, or CI/CD
• Experience turning ambiguous developer workflows into strategy, roadmap, metrics, and shipped outcomes
• Strong fluency in software delivery workflows, CI/CD, SDKs, CLIs, and distributed systems
• High standards for developer experience across CLIs, SDKs, APIs, docs, onboarding, and production workflows
• Ability to translate evolving developer workflows, including AI-assisted coding, into CLI/testing/docs requirements
• Ability to balance open-source DX, Temporal Cloud adoption, and enterprise needs
