Staff Product Manager, Perception Hardware & Systems

📋 Description

• Own the system of systems; define and maintain system-level requirements.
• Champion Voice of the Customer; build data-driven stakeholder insights to define requirements.
• Lead hardware discovery; evaluate sensing tech, device configurations, and feasibility.
• Define hardware phase success; translate needs into phase-specific requirements.
• Lead cross-functional strategy; align commercial, ops, and engineering.
• Drive AI-powered product development; apply AI from discovery to post-launch.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years PM with hardware-enabled systems ownership.
• End-to-end ownership of hardware development from PRD to mass production.
• Strong tech in perception and sensing (cameras, radar, BLE, audio).
• Define willingness to pay and build cost model (COGS, BOM, margins).
• Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software teams on system trade-offs.
• Strong writing and verbal skills; produce durable system requirements.
