Staff Product Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and own the product security roadmap based on risk and impact.
• Establish and evolve security posture with scalable standards.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Infrastructure, and Platform teams for secure design.
• Own and review security-critical code, including authentication and access control.
• Architect secure-by-default libraries and tools to make secure paths easy.
• Lead incident response coordination with cross-functional teams and mentorship.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in product security, application security, or security-focused software engineering
• Proven track record remediating vulnerabilities (CVEs, bug bounties, research)
• Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives and influencing teams without authority
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and developing security talent
• Strong programming skills with production-grade software
• Excellent communication translating security risk into business terms
• Nice to Have: Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud-native security patterns
• Nice to Have: AI/ML security and LLM-based application considerations
