📋 Description

• Research retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI for Fivetran AI roadmap.
• Prototype ideas and ship production backend and frontend features.
• Define technical direction across teams; turn high-level goals into plans.
• Build and maintain backend and frontend systems for Agents Schema pipelines.
• Drive AISQL: natural language to SQL grounded in dbt metric definitions.
• Own production reliability: on-call, incident response, SRE.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Python and/or Java; capable across backend and frontend.
• Trusted expert influencing multiple teams and setting technical direction.
• Comfortable with AI/ML research; turn findings into production features.
• Proficient with SQL and data warehouses (BigQuery / Snowflake / Databricks).
• Willingness to own end-to-end: research, backend, frontend, SRE, QA.
• Writes well-structured, production-ready code and can dive into unfamiliar codebases.
